Kitty gets her eye healed
Kitty’s story is a poignant reminder of the struggles faced by stray animals and the importance of timely medical intervention. Residing in Versova and cared for by an animal lover, Kitty, a stray cat, faced a severe health crisis when one of her eyes was damaged and became infested with maggots. The pain was so intense that she was found howling in distress.
Understanding the urgency of her situation, Kitty was quickly taken to Vet Komal. An assessment revealed that she required surgery to address the internal damage causing her immense pain. In the interim, antibiotics were administered to alleviate her suffering, but such a treatment is not a sustainable long-term solution.
However, a significant obstacle stands in the way of Kitty’s recovery: the lack of funds for her surgery and subsequent care. The cost of the surgery is estimated at 6,000 Rupees, with an additional 1,000 Rupees needed for post-surgery care and medical expenses, totaling 7,000 Rupees.
In light of these challenges, we are reaching out to the community for financial assistance. Kitty’s situation is dire, and without the necessary surgery, her chances of recovery and a pain-free life are slim. We appeal to the kindness and generosity of animal lovers to help cover these costs and give Kitty the chance she deserves to heal and live comfortably.
Kitty’s plight highlights the critical role of community support in ensuring the health and well-being of stray animals. Every contribution, no matter how small, can make a significant difference in the life of an animal in need.
