Vikroli West Case

Animal Rescue and Care (ARAC) received a distress call from Vikhroli West regarding a female dog in dire need of help. The dog was suffering from extensive and deep maggot wounds on her back, causing immense pain and discomfort.

In a swift response, ARAC sprang into action and rescued the dog, later named Jassi. Jassi received immediate medical attention from veterinarian Dr. Dave. Under the care of ARAC and with proper veterinary treatment, Jassi began her road to recovery.

During her treatment, it was discovered that Jassi also had a neurological disorder, characterized by repetitive movements such as turning around and around. ARAC went above and beyond to provide her with the necessary medical care and attention for both her physical wounds and neurological condition.

After a period of recovery and rehabilitation, Jassi made significant progress. Once she was fully healed and her health improved, ARAC made the compassionate decision to return her to her original location. This act of reuniting her with her familiar surroundings was a fortunate outcome for Jassi.

ARAC expressed gratitude to the individual who made the call for help, as their prompt action and concern played a crucial role in saving Jassi’s life. This story highlights the importance of quick intervention and the dedicated efforts of organizations like ARAC to rescue and rehabilitate animals in distress.
